Future Budget Scheduling Update

Release Date: January 22, 2021 

Re-Released: March 18, 2021 (design updates)

Future Budget Scheduling has been improved to provide more clarity on future budgets. Now, when you navigate to a Budget Settings page from the Budget View, you'll see a SCHEDULE tab in the left-hand navigation. 

Clicking this will take you to the new "Schedule Future Budget Amounts" form. You can schedule future budgets for recurring budgets. Once submitted, you can see a list of the upcoming future budgets scheduled and edit or delete them at any time.

Improved Bulk Editing

Shape has updated our platform to allow for greater flexibility in updating certain budget, campaign, and keyword elements in bulk. You can now edit the following elements in bulk to a specific value, increase/decrease by a percentage, or increase/decrease by an amount. 

• Campaign Daily Budgets
• Campaign CruiseControl Min daily budgets
• Campaign CruiseControl Default daily budgets
• Campaign CruiseControl Max daily budgets
• Keyword CPC bids

Depending on your bulk editing needs, you can: 

1. Update all to a new value

2. Increase amounts by an amount (with optional upper limit)

3. Increase amounts by a percent (with optional upper limit)

4. Decrease amounts by an amount (with optional upper limit)

5. Decrease amounts by a percent (with optional upper limit)

Movable Quick Edit Forms

Quick Edit forms can now be moved anywhere on the screen. Previously, when you clicked on an element such as a campaign status, daily budget, or keyword CPC bid, our Quick Edit form would appear on the screen. However, it was not movable and often obscured important information needed to make the optimization. Quick Edit forms can now be moved as needed.
