A Contact is a person who you would like Shape to send an automated email when spend nears a certain percentage of your target Budget cap.
It is helpful to add a Contact if there is a person you would like to notify when a Budget nears its spend threshold but the person does not have access to Shape directly.
You can also add Contacts to Shape who you would like to send in-platform reports to. If a Contact has access to the Shape Report dashboard, their email will have a graph icon to the right.
To Create a Contact:
Navigate to the Contacts view
Click the "Create Contact" button
Check the boxes next to the Clients and/or Budgets you want the Contact to receive alerts for, and click Next.
Enter an email into the "Email" field.
Click "Create."
To Edit a Contact:
Navigate to the Contacts view
Click the checkbox next to the name of the Contact you'd like to edit. Click the"Edit" pencil icon at the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
Use the left-side navigation to select/deselect the Clients or Budgets your Contact will receive alerts for, edit the Contact's email, or remove the Contact.
Save.
To Delete a Contact:
1. Navigate to the Contacts view
2. Click the checkbox next to the name of the Contact you'd like to edit. Click the"Edit" pencil icon at the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
3. Click the "Remove" link in the left-hand navigation.
4. You have deleted a Contact successfully when their name disappears from the Contacts list.
